It was May of 2013, and I was coming an end with filming my first documentary, Modern Monster. I had spent the last four years traveling the United States and spending every last dollar I had saved up chasing a creature that wasn't supposed to exist. Most people thought I was nuts, which is okay with me since I was the one chasing my dream of making a documentary about Bigfoot. Just as I was starting the editing process and developing an ending for the film, Jack Hanna's assistant responded to me and said that Jack would be delighted to do an interview about his opinions on the subject matter, so we made the trip to Columbus, Ohio. I remember lying in the hotel room and not being able to sleep because I was so anxious and excited about the interview. What would Jack say? Does he believe in Bigfoot? I got up the next morning ready to finish my final interview for Modern Monster. In the end, some people believe in Sasquatch and some don't. The bottom line is everyone wants proof. When it comes to proof, they want to see it with their own eyes and hear it with their own ears. Hanna is no different. Here's a clip of my interview with Jack.
