Have you ever had a dream or a nightmare, and have a crazy story to go along with it? One that isn’t normal? One so abnormal that maybe it may be something else? Premonitions, telepathy, and things of that nature have been debated for a long time now, and we still don’t have a definitive answer. I recently spoke with two people about their experiences, and what they have to say may sway your opinion towards believing in something you thought may never be possible.
If you have visited this website before, you may recall reading, or seeing, my article on my friend, Bethaney, There’s No Place Like Home: Part 1. Not only has she had dreams of a little girl dying in her fireplace, she also shares a dream with her brother that takes place in their home, only they each have different perspectives. From Bethaney’s perspective, she’s a little boy. She said, “I’m a young boy, Maybe, ten or so. I wake up because I hear someone in my home, and I creep through the house, and see a man in all black.” Her brother, on the other hand, dreams he’s the killer who murders the boy’s family, and then, the boy. “I watch him go into my parents’ room, and I take off back to my room to try to call for help, or get a weapon, and I start hearing screaming.” She meets a man, and tries to get him to help her. He agrees to help, but takes her back to the house. Armed, they follow a blood trail to the basement where the boy’s parents are hanging. The killer ties the little boy up, forcing him to watch as he dismembers his parents, and buries them in the basement. “Then the killer comes over to me, and slits my throat. Everything goes black, and I wake up awhile later from the dream.”
My next example, Meg, had a dream on September 10th just before the 9/11 terrorist attacks. She said, “In the dream, I was on some kind of skyrail. It was insanely bright, and I was surrounded by people that I could hear, but not see.” She saw two large buildings in the distance. She heard a man say, “I can’t believe they made all this room so fast.” The next morning, on Sept. 11th, tragedy hit. The World Trade Center was struck by terrorists using planes they hijacked. She was “scared and freaked out not only from the tragedy, but the dream.”
These are the type of examples that can get a person to think. Have you, or anyone that you know ever had dreams that may be trying to tell you something? Feel free to discuss your dream, or dreams in the comment section below.
